Jeff Rhone, MS, CSCS, PES

Jeff graduated from Western Washington University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, specializing as a Health and Fitness Specialist. In 2009 he graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania with his Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, specializing in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention. Jeff is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), which is the highest fitness certification you can receive, and he is also a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Jeff’s philosophy is that rehabilitation should address the whole body as a system to enhance recovery from injury by focusing on all planes of motion and empowering the patient to continue exercise after physical therapy to maintain functionality and improve quality of life.
Jeff is also an ADAPT Level 3 Certified Trainer. The ADAPT philosophy hinges on the facts that:
1) The body has an original structural alignment that is capable of absorbing force and optimal muscular tension maintains this alignment to avoid injury.
2) Humans are adaptive organisms that conform to their environment in order to conserve energy and survive; even if it means the body has to compensate to do it.
3) Humans are stimulus dependent. If we move in all possible directions and do a variety of activities, then our bodies are more durable than if we do too much of any certain activity.
Jeff helps run all sports conditioning camps and works with sports leagues in our community to build strong, effective athletes with a decreased risk for injury. To check out the program, go to CoachJoesFitnessAcademy.com. He is a personal trainer and trains clients through the clinic and off site. Jeff enjoys golfing, exercising, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Jeff also runs his own Personal Training business and you can find out more information at www.rhoneconditioning.com.
