Jackie graduated from the University of Washington in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She worked for 10 years at Skagit Valley Hospital and the last 22 years in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Mount Vernon.
Jackie’s philosophy is to educate and assist her patients to live a meaningful and independent life. She specializes in treating general orthopedics in the adult population.
In her spare time Jackie enjoys her family, hiking, biking, ballroom dancing, reading, quilting, crafting, cooking, and gardening. If she had to choose just one activity, it would be ballroom dancing. She and her husband regularly attend dancing events. Jackie sees a relationship with dancing and physical therapy as it integrates with all aspects of physical therapy. Dancing incorporates strength, balance, flexibility, proprioception, aerobic activity, and movement.
