Greg Spooner, DPT

Greg graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2010 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Greg enjoys treating shoulders, vestibular disorders and balance deficits.

When not in the clinic, Greg is out on the open water, rowing across oceans for kids, the environment, and maybe to set a record here and there too. In 2006 he was part of a four-person team that set a Guinness Record racing across the North Atlantic Ocean in a row boat – “The first unassisted human powered crossing from mainland USA to mainland UK.” Then in 2008 he and another rower became the first to circumnavigate the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.

In April/May 2012 Greg will circumnavigate Canada’s rugged Vancouver Island in the CWF Salish Sea Expedition.  Later in December 2012-2013, the CWF Africa to the America’s expedition will take the crew 60-80 days across the Atlantic Ocean, connecting two Right to Play communities & inspiring students at home and abroad in Liberia & Venezuela (how cool is that!!!!!). Follow the expeditions in real-time, see photos & video, and message the crew directly to the rowboat: Expedition Tracker.
